Head Coaches
16U - Ashley Barber
16U - Wayne Haver
Coach Wayne has been coaching for the past 30 + years and is NFHS certified. He has coached fastpitch here in Maryland @ Maryland-Patriots, Freedom Firebirds, Maryland-Mustangs (showcase only), Wilde Lake HS JV. He has 3 children that played in Howard County and 3 grandchildren.
12U - Patrick DiNenna
Coach Pat has coached all levels of softball (from Rec to travel) for over 12 years. He helped coach his oldest daughter, Caroline, through 18A, which she started when she was 14. Many of his players went on to play in college, including Caroline who started as a Freshman (left fielder / lead-off batter) for Wilson College (NCAA DIII, CSAC Conference Champions). He has had the opportunity to learn from the best, including Patty Gasso (Oklahoma), Karen & Ralph Weekly (Tennessee), and Dot Richardson (Liberty U), among others. His primary goal is player development because colleges aren't looking for kids who played on good teams. They're looking for good ball players. He loves developing slappers. Caroline now helps as an assistant coach, and his youngest, Katie, plays on the team (but is not a pitcher or catcher).
